Child Heath Technology.....the conference helping to build our future

We were honoured to be asked to produce the website and livestream for the Child Health Technology conference again in 2022. With Covid uncertainty still plaguing the conference world the organisers chose early on to hold the event 100% virtually. That meant a green screen set up in our studio, a bespoke virtual set and hours and hours of collating and recording speaker sessions.

As the title suggests the conference is all about technological advancements in child health and the team at Technative have been blown away by the research and dedication of the teams involved. The talks flowed from robotics to the operating table to light therapies and software. The work these doctors and research scientists are doing will help secure our future, enable children and adults to lead a full life and generate opportunities for growth not just in medicine but manufacturing, sports and more.

Broadcasting such a prestigious event meant utilising our in house programme - ConferenceSpot. The platform is user friendly, diverse and can be housed behind a password protected landing page. CHT chose to have a watch page with a chat box for delegates to ask questions, a schedule page with abstracts from each talk and links to the speakers bio, a sponsors page and finally a posters page with audio files from the presenter. With ConferenceSpot every speaker and delegate also gets to upload a bio which can include a photo, links to papers or LinkedIn and contact details.

For the set we were asked to create something which was clean, bright and gave a sense of the medical environment but not too like a hospital and that delivered the confidence of a newsroom. The team also wanted to have some live images of the view of Sheffield. We think we nailed the brief!
